On the weekends I am not shooting you’ll find me hanging out with my family, partner, stepson and friends (think playing games, drinking, cooking and having a good old-fashioned d&m sesh out the back), exploring the world and slowing down listening to vinyls in my living room. Travelling is a passion, and I am so lucky to have been able to explore some beautiful places on this earth. Work for me doesn’t feel like work because I absolutely love what I do, so I squeeze in a few family shoots between weddings. Usually, past couples come back when they grow their families and I am so happy to be part of the journey!

My clients are more than just clients.

They become friends. I am one of the people you spend most of your day with (friendly paparazzi here), so it’s so important to me to establish a friendship and connection with my couples. I want it to feel like you are hanging out with your mates, laughing and having the time of your life.

My couples often say how easy I make the experience, how relaxed and fun it is. It’s probably one of the highest compliments I receive, because real laughter, love and emotion is what I aim to capture

My story starts like most – I absolutely love photography.

Way back in 2009 I captured some snaps at my cousins wedding on my good old trusty point and shoot and I loved the results and the way it lit something up inside of me. Some incredible friends believed in me, I shot a few of their weddings, and the rest is history.

The truth is, photography for me is so much more than capturing a beautiful photograph. It’s about freezing a moment in time, capturing true emotion and joy, the tears and the laughter.

Not just a golden sunset (though those are the icing on the cake). It's my honour to be invited to one of the most special days of your life and being able to tell your story through the lens of empathy, fun and real connection?

It just gives me a type of joy I cannot express.
