When I photographed my very first wedding back in 2015, I thought my job was simply taking beautiful images.
I couldn't have been more wrong.
Over the years I've photographed hundreds of weddings throughout Melbourne and Victoria, and every single one has reminded me that photographs become part of a family's history.
Long after the flowers have wilted.
Long after the cake has been eaten.
Long after the dress is tucked away.

My Photography Style
The Best Photos Aren't Posed... They're Felt.
My photography style is relaxed, natural and documentary. That means I'm not here to turn your wedding day into one long photoshoot or spend hours pulling you away from your favourite people. Instead, I'm there to quietly document the day as it unfolds, capturing all the moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
The happy tears your mum tries to hide.
Your partner taking a deep breath before seeing you for the first time.
The uncontrollable laughter during the speeches.
The way your grandparents hold hands during the ceremony.
The packed dance floor at the end of the night.
Those are the photographs that become family heirlooms.
They're the ones that transport you straight back to the moment, even years later.
Of course, there are times when a little guidance goes a long way. During your couple portraits or family photos, I'll gently direct you so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to stand. But don't expect stiff poses or forced smiles.
I'll get you - walking - talking - laughing - spinning - sneaking in cuddles.
Sharing a quiet moment together while I simply capture what happens next.
Most of my couples tell me they're awkward in front of the camera before their wedding day.
By the time we're halfway through their portraits, they're laughing so much they've forgotten there's even a camera between us.

One of my absolute favourite parts of this job is that no two weekends ever look the same.
One Saturday I might be photographing a luxury winery wedding surrounded by vines in the Yarra Valley.
The next I'm wandering the beaches of the Mornington Peninsula with a newly married couple who can't stop laughing.
Then I'm dancing alongside guests at a country wedding near Ballarat before heading back to Melbourne for another incredible celebration the following weekend.

Absolutely! In fact, I'd say about 99% of my couples tell me this before their wedding. My approach is relaxed and documentary, which means I'm not expecting you to know how to pose like professional models. I'll gently guide you when you need it, but most of the magic happens while you're simply laughing, chatting and enjoying each other.

I'll capture your day as it naturally unfolds, then steal you away for a short portrait session where you'll spend more time laughing together than posing. My goal is to get you back to your guests as quickly as possible because that's where the memories are being made.
I've photographed weddings throughout Melbourne, Geelong, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, Ballarat, Daylesford, Macedon Ranges and everywhere in between.
Weddings are my biggest love, but I also photograph engagements, families, maternity sessions, newborns and special events throughout Melbourne and Victoria. One of the best parts of my job is getting to photograph my couples long after the wedding day, watching their families grow over the years.
