Hi there, I'm Belle, or Belinda, but all my friends call me Belle. I'm a Disney-obsessed hopeless romantic and I'm so thrilled to get to know you and be a part of the biggest, most romantic day of your life.
Welcome!
On a beautiful Friday afternoon in February, Micaela and Matthew exchanged their vows at the stunning Sandringham Yacht Club. It was a wonderful day full of laughs, tears, fun and love. Their wedding is right up there on my list of favourites!
I spent the first part of the morning with the boys, warming feet and capturing some awesome shots of the squad before the big show. They were all so excited to be supporting Matt on the happiest day of his life.
Then I went to meet the girls. I have been to a few weddings during my career as a photographer, and sometimes, the situation can be a bit chaotic. Not with Micaela and her tribe. They were so calm, collected, organised, and prepared that it was easy to capture some of the most incredible ‘getting ready’ shots I have ever taken.
To see Matt waiting at the end of the aisle and to see the emotion in him realising he was about to commit his everything to his best friend, his love, the other half of his soul, brought tears to MY eyes…. and then she arrived. A cosmic ray of light hit the balcony and there was silence as she strode toward her awaiting partner. I felt privileged to catch the most precious moments of the ceremony, all topped off when those in attendance erupted in applause when Matt lifted Micaela up and squeezed her tight for their first kiss.
The reception was an amazing flurry of great food, bubbles (way to go Matt), dancing, cheering and fun. In short, the reception was LIT! The speeches were so genuine and lovely and it was clear Micaela and Matt are so loved by all.
The smiles and fun continued on to the wee hours when Mr and Mrs Campbell headed off to their first night as husband and wife. The photographs from the day are amazing and I couldn’t be more honoured to have been a part of it.
