2020 and the Covid-19 pandemic have created challenges for everyone.
Below is my CovidSafe Plan to keep everyone safe during photography sessions.
As per requirements by DHHS, there are some important measures I will be taking to ensure we are safe.
1. Maintaining a safe distance
I will be keeping to the mandatory 1.5 metre distance from you during photo sessions. Unfortunately for a person who loves to hug people, hugs and hand shaking will be off limits.
2. Record Keeping
I will maintain contact details of all people involved in the shoot.
3. Wearing of Face Masks
Before, during, and after the shoot, I will be wearing a mask. For the people who are involved in the shoot, face masks can be removed for the shoot, but the mask should be put back on once the shoot is over.
I will be making sure that I have hand sanitiser with me at all times and after every session I will sanitise my hands. I will also be cleaning my cameras after every session. Until further notice I cannot provide props, so feel free to bring your own.
5. Outdoor Photography Only
As directed by DHHS, outdoor photography is the only photography permitted. According to the announcement from the Victorian Premier on the 26th of October, weddings are now allowed to be 10 people (plus the celebrant and photographer).
2020 may not have been a year that we could have ever imagined, but by doing what is right by everyone and keeping in mind the road we are still on, we will get through this. We will be able to get to bigger weddings, and the most important thing, we will get to hug each other.
